Life at your fingertips
Alright, so I’ve been here just over two weeks now, and I am absolutely in love with this city! There are just soooo many things to do, see, and experience that it’s hard to ever get bored. In the past 2 weeks, I’ve:
1. Gone to an Atari Teenage Riot concert in basically the ghetto of Prague at this place called the Abaton

Here is a pic of the band that night

And another of the venue we were at (not taken the night of the concert) but it gives you an idea of what it looks like
2. Gone to several different bars and clubs around the city. This is not hard to do though because they are basically on every corner of every street. I’ve tried most of the Czech beers and I must say, they are muuuuch better than anything I get in the US. If you ever have the chance to try Pilsner Urquell, Krusovice, or Staropramen on tap, DO IT!! Oh and fun fact about marijuana in the Czech Republic: It’s decriminalized and its EVERYWHERE! There’s one bar in particular where you just order it at the bar lol. I’m pretty sure it’s also legal to buy seeds here too so if SOMEONE IN PARTICULAR is reading this and wants some priiimo shit, then lemme know.
3. Gone to several tourist attractions and historical landmarks that are absolutely UNREAL!

Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square

Old Town Square

Church of Our Lady Before Tyn

Jan Hus Monument

A couple pictures of the Charles Bridge

Prague Castle
4. Traveled to Cesky Krumlov (a beautiful town in the Czech countryside) and took many great photos

5. Went to a wine festival in Prague and had the best wine I think I’ve ever had!

6. Just got back from a Tiesto concert that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I’ll upload some videos soon!
A little fun in Prague =)
As the title states, I’m waiting on my laundry to finish right at the moment. 200 czech crown down the drain (about 10 bucks) and I have to go all the way across the city to do it. I can see this getting a bit annoying, but at least they have free internet here and a comfy place for me to sit. I don’t really understand how laundromats are few and far between here as they are so common in the US and UK. There is a place to do laundry in the dorms but you only have 2 hours and that isnt near enough time to dry clothes. So my solution? Maybe get a clothesline and rig it up on my balcony and do the drying there. That means I need to find a hardware store in order to attach the clothesline since there is nothing to hook it on, which just seems like a lot of work for something I usually take for granted.
Here are the first of many pictures to come… I still don’t feel like pictures can catch the raw beauty of this city
